I'm not really sure what to make of this. When I first saw the video, and accompanying Mashable article, my first reponse was that it was load of patronising, degrading claptrap. Then I watched the video, and sort of got it.
I'm not convinced this is quite the way to build the credibility of social media. To imply that it is the silver bullet for all the worlds evils is patently nonsense. However, social media is a great communicator, a great story teller, and will become a teller of great stories.
Either way, it's better than cat videos.
