Where are the UK tech blogs?!

I've been interested in sometime in the American tech blogopshere - I enjoy the podcasts, the posts, but most of all the personalities - Pete Cashmore, Tom Merrit, Leo Laporte, Sarah Lane, MG Siegler, Michael Arrington, Om Malik, Shira Lazar, Alexia Tsotsis, Sarah Lacey, and so on. Sometimes it is a load of nonsense, but generally there is good information and interesting content. If nothing else it is growing media industry that is more or less taken seriously.

Apart from a few notable exception such as the Kernel and The Wall (who I write for,) we don't seem to have much at all here in the UK. The most prominent sites tend to be UK offshoots of big US ones, such as Wired, The Next Web, and so on, or really dull, like the Guardian. I've thought it for a long time in the politico blogosphere too, but we just don't take online media makers seriously.

It's a real shame, and something that needs addressing.
